Baby Shower Part I: getting ready at our house...

This is the Beautiful Mum to be getting ready to go across the street to her Baby Shower.

She is looking quite radiant in her new top all dressed up and ready to go! ... Now for me to prepare for the boys!...

Charlie has been going stir crazy in the house. He keeps going to the patio door and wants to get outside. He does NOT like getting his little feet wet. So I decided to clear a little room for him on the deck so he could get outside.

Well, I went strait out the door to the railing and turned around and looked at the deck covered in snow. I decided to have a little fun with Charlie as it wasn't too bad clearing the path.

So Charlie got a maze to play in...

He actually likes it and got the idea that he can chase me around the maze... it was cute.

But playtime had to end so I could get things ready for the boys to come over while the girls were across the street at the baby shower... guys ,were not invited!

The mind is ALWAYS thinking... If you gonna have a deck, and your gonna have a party... You have to be mindful of your options...

And I was worried because I didn't have an ice chest big enough!... HA! Refilling was easy too. We just removed the empty six pack and replaced it with a full one. We had a LOT of fun!...

We just could never get our heads around the Olympic sport of "Curling"... though we watched a LOT of it! LOL

They SAY... the bad storm is over!

If you came to my house today, this is what you would see. . . LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of snow!

Behind that huge pile of snow is my 3/4 truck which makes a pretty good projectile on ice (nope... it's not going ANYWHERE for a long time!).

There is really that much snow there behind the truck. Mind you the wind has moved all the loose snow and what is left is pretty much chunky to dig.

Snow plows are Great for the roads... not so much for where the driveway meets the road, and of course Mail boxes. .. if the mail man can't get to it, you don't get any mail. so I had to dig that out too.

We seem to be getting more snow that everyone else. Actually what it seems to be is a whirlwind effect that dumps it all in our front yard and driveway when the wind blows. And let me tell you... the last two days we have had a LOT of wind.

This is our wall of snow walk to the front door. .. NICE eh!

This is what you get for $800.00, A snow plow that cuts one path down your street to drive on, and as I said before... The pile of snow in front of your freshly dug driveway and mailbox... well... they leave that for free!

I should have been a Dentist...

. . . because getting these pictures was like pulling Wisdom Teeth! LOL

And NOW Ladies and Gentlemen... The rare to be seen and incredibly dangerous to post (my Darling wife might kill me for posting them) BABY BELLY Pictures!!!

OH! There it is, as we fondly call the bump... "The Wee Tike"

Now that picture shows that we are almost to our due date and things are getting a bit uncomfortable for the soon to be new Mum!

Oh yeah... I had to post this one... This would be Mrs holding her baby Charlie... Just look at that smile! (and herself not liking cats says she!) HA!

If I live to see tomorrow, there will be more post in the future. I know you are tired of seeing snow Alicia... but it is coming down again and the base is now closed until Thursday! YIIIPPEEEE!!!!

It's NOT my fault there's NO Baby Belly Pics!

Hello Everyone,

I know this was supposed to have baby belly pictures on it. But, for those of you who know Jane... taking a picture of her is like having someone volunteer to have their wisdom teeth taken out! It is not going to happen easily... But, I will keep trying I promise. Jane has moved into the constantly feeling uncomfortable stage and so she doesn't feel much like having her picture taken at all.
So, in the mean time, enjoy the pictures of the snow. . . it's all we have to show right now.

22 inches... this is in the road!

It is kind of funny. We all worked so hard to clear our driveways and sidewalks... like we're going anywhere... The roads are ALL still FULL of snow in our development. The plow tried to come out... and got stuck!
